This gently glowing green magical orb originated at the top of the Crawling Tower. It used to exude a sense of revulsion when touched, but that lessened over time as Cynthia got used to it.
Its first ability has been unlocked: gazing into it allows one to see the flow of soul energy. Living beings often appear as bright green silhouettes overlapping their body; miasma appears as a sludgy green fog, revealing that it is made up of souls that have not returned to the Lifestream. Interestingly, Serafina appears as bright green as any other living person, but her soul energy is tightly packed into a spot inside her chest. Wonder what that’s all about?
Additionally, it:
- Grants the user the Children of the Grave skill, as though they had taken it normally.
- You can always communicate with undead creatures. Once per scene, you may ask an undead a single question. They are compelled to answer truthfully.
- Allows the user to supplement the MP cost of a Ritual with HP (from themselves, willing participants, or incapacitated participants).
- Acts as a tutor for the Necromancer class, which one does not normally find available in the world.
