Bihara had been destroyed; its world tree sapling looked burnt and hollow, drained of life. The surrounding area was devoid even of color; oddly, it was also completely devoid of miasma. The streets of the town were seemingly roamed by anti-life tentacles, made of strange void energy, controlled by a beast dubbed the “phantom hunger” that perched atop the building that housed the sapling.
However, the party retook the town, and after a safety net ritual enacted by Cynthia, it seems the sapling is starting to regain its power. No word on if the miasma is going to creep back in, though.
Survivors seem to have escaped to Nuono to the northeast.
